OKLink wins “Best Remittance Breakthrough Transfers” Florin Awards at Global Payment Summit 2016 in Singapore

OKLink is honored to win the “Best Remittance Breakthrough Transfers” 2016 Florin Awards at the Global Payment Summit in Singapore by unanimous jury vote. This is tremendous recognition of our teams in Beijing and Hong Kong, who have tirelessly researched the topic, designed and worked on the product in the past year.

OKLink received unanimous vote from all five juries on the judge panel, which consists of leading financial services practitioners, payments and remittances experts, and fintech pioneers with broad experience and unique insight of the industry in Asia.

Led by Christian König, Founder of Fintech News Singapore and Chairman of the Jury, the judge panel includes Charmaine Oak, co-founder of Digital Money at Shift Thought Ltd; Neil Katkov, Senior Vice President of Celent’s Global Asian Financial Services Group; Jonathan Capal, Director of DMA Asia Pacific; and Vikas Munshi, Creative Technologist at ING Bank NV.

Florin Awards were created in 2010 to stimulate innovation in the transaction services industry. The award process has been designed to capture the most recent innovations in the transaction services industry and to select the nominees and winners that have broad industry appeal.

Chief Strategy Officer Jack. C Liu received the award after speaking on a panel at the Global Payment Summit with Carlo Corazza from the World Bank and Juanita Woodward from WorldRemit, to discuss remittance solutions that challenge the traditional banking system.

The award follows the company’s announcement that it will make US$100 million of cross-border transfers free for global remittance companies on the OKLink network.
